Technical Description of Fiber Slurry Sampling Valve

1. Structure and Composition

Valve body: mainly includes valve cover, valve stem, valve core, spring, bracket, handle and other components. Used to cut off fibers when opening the valve and prevent the valve seal from being affected by the fibers when it is closed. Springs are used for resetting and maintaining a sealed state.

2. Working principle

Press to open: The operator presses the handle of the valve stem to force the spring to open the valve. When the valve is opened and the fiber material enters the sampling chamber to reach the sampling volume, release the handle and the cutting mechanism will cut the fiber when it is closed. When the handle spring is reset and closed, the spring pushes the valve cover back to the closed position, while the sealing end remains sealed.

3. Characteristics

Shear function: When the valve is opened, fiber material enters the sampling chamber, and when it is closed, the fiber is automatically sheared to ensure the integrity or compliance with specific requirements of the sample.

Spring reset: Reliable sealing when closed to prevent liquid leakage.

High pressure sealing: The working pressure can reach 1.6 MPa, suitable for high-pressure fiber slurry systems.
