Powder Vacuum Sampling Valve Series - Standard Type

Vacuum powder sampling valve, suitable for extracting samples during the drying process of drying equipment, is a powder sampling device used in equipment drying. The optimal position for sampling is to install the sampling valve at an angle of 35 degrees. When installed horizontally, an angle of 10 degrees is optimal to ensure that the material is dry powder. Beneficial for the smooth extraction of samples from powder discharge.

1、 Sampling process

Rotate the handwheel clockwise to close, and counterclockwise to open for sampling. In a vacuum working environment, a vacuum should be connected to the small valve on the exhaust side to balance the vacuum inside the equipment. When sampling, the vacuum degree should be reduced to -0.3 (MP) (the pressure at the exhaust port of the small valve should be reduced to 0.4 MPa under positive pressure). Open the sampling valve in place until the handwheel cannot rotate. The powder is then fed into the sampling bottle through the inclined tube. After sampling is completed, rotate the plunger clockwise to push the remaining material back into the container, and operate the handwheel until it is closed,. Close the vacuum valve until the handwheel cannot be turned, and then remove the sampling bottle.

2、 Precautions

1. Clean and disinfect before use.

2. The sealing ring material is fluororubber, and the front seal is made of fluororubber. The operating temperature is 100 degrees.

3. When using, if the handwheel does not rotate flexibly enough, the operator should not act too quickly. Forcefully rotating it will damage the positioning pin and screw device.

4. When sampling in vacuum state, the vacuum degree needs to be reduced to -0.3 (MPa). Glass bottles with high negative pressure are prone to damage during sampling, and steel cylinders are required for sampling with high negative pressure of -0.9 (MPg).
